This research focuses on the development of hadith studies in Indian Subcontinent 12th-14th. India and its scholars have played a role contribution to Islamic civilization. From that, there are two problems that then raised. First, what is process developing distribution? Second, method compiling number works field hadith? Thus purpose this study outlines Islam hadith. In addition, explain methods indian use exploring hadiths Prophet SAW. Based approach history as method. As result, for spreading SAW along with teachings Islam, considering second most important source after Qur'an. Departing from also tendency do sharah hasyiah poles al-sittah encouraged, not limited writing works, publishing, publishing. However, various continue be encouraged so students, public can participate understanding until 12th-14th, even today still center world.
